Description
If you have already written posts using Tomareba HTML cards or Hotelipp (ホテリップ) hotel cards, Yadokko Migrator lets you convert them to Yadokko shortcodes in bulk, instead of replacing each card by hand one at a time.
- Detects Tomareba HTML cards (
tomarebalink-box) automatically - Detects Hotelipp blocks/shortcodes (
[hotelipp id="123"]/[hotelipp_hotel id="123"]) automatically - Registers the detected hotels in Yadokko automatically
- Replaces the cards in your post content with
[yadokko id="123"]in bulk - Fills in photos, address, review score, lowest price and the catchcopy via the Rakuten Travel API
Requires the Yadokko Hotel Cards plugin to be installed and active.
External services
This plugin connects to the Rakuten Travel API to look up hotel information (photos, address, review score, lowest price, catchcopy) needed to complete the entries created during migration.
It sends the hotel name and/or the Rakuten hotel number found in your existing Tomareba/Hotelipp cards to the Rakuten Travel API. This only happens when you manually run the “Enrich” step from Tools Yadokko Migrator in wp-admin; no data is sent automatically or in the background.

Installation
- Install and activate Yadokko Hotel Cards first.
- Upload and activate this plugin.
- Back up your database before running a migration.
- Run STEP 1–4 in order from Tools Yadokko Migrator in wp-admin.

What if I use both Tomareba and Hotelipp?

Are Hotelipp’s Jalan/Agoda hotel IDs carried over?

No. Yadokko looks up Jalan and Agoda by hotel name rather than ID, so those IDs have nowhere to migrate to and are discarded (it falls back to a name search instead).
