Installation
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/xray-product-image-optimizerdirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- A new ‘Image Optimizer’ box will appear on the product (and post/page) edit screen, plus an ‘Image Optimizer’ entry under Media.
- Open the Studio to start optimizing your images.

No. Images processed through the Xray Studio are saved directly as WebP files, so no server rewrite rules or delivery layer are required.

Yes. WooCommerce unlocks the product Featured Image and Gallery workflow, but the Studio also works for Featured Images on standard WordPress posts and pages.
